Coach Bags Collection in Retro Styles

Saturday, June 25th, 2011

Recently there’s a collection by Coach that has caught my eyes. It’s understandable if you too find these styles familiar to you, since they are from the Classics Collection, a group of retro styles reintroduced from Coach’s archives. Although retro styles are now going rampant on the streets, these Coach bags still get some special fascination that makes them unique.

Take a closer look at these pieces, you will find they’ve got something in common — soft and buttery leather, brass hardware, and simple turnlock closures. The vintage yet trendy looks they boast must be able to cause some ladies to scream. So check out some of the styles below. I think if you see them carried around on the streets, your attention too will be grabbed by them!

You may happen to be a fan of Coach Bags. yet seeing those luxuries beyond your pocket will be a quite depressing thing. And that is why many are going for the top quality replica versions of Coach bags. I myself have long been purchasing replica designer bags and those are mostly quite pleasing shopping experiences.

Made of fine materials, these replica Coach bags are just totally different from those cheap-looking knockoffs badly crafted. I bought my replicas from some online stores, and I’ve got to say that the first time I received the bags, I kind of could not believe my eyes due to the exactly same appearance the bag got as its authentic counterpart. And I thought if I could get the styles in such an easy way, then why should I put myself into a miserable life for a splurge on designer bags? So try it, and you may love it too.

Gucci New 3-D Glasses Combining the Best of World

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

Have you been fed up with the sort of ugly disposable 3-D glasses? Now you can get rid of them. The fashion house of Gucci, announced the launch of its first ever made 3-D Gucci glasses just months ago, which will meet the highest standards required for 3-D cinema viewing.

So let’s say you’re going to watch the new avatar in 3-D, you’ll be able to luxuriously do it with these Gucci 3-D glasses. The 3-D glasses surely combine the best of world, innovation and technology with the unmistakable style of Gucci. Lots of us are in love with the aviator shape of the glasses but it would been amazing to be able to wear them also in non 3-D situations.

However let’s face it that Gucci is a luxury brand, and naturally luxury is not always associated with necessity but with desire and envy. Frida Giannini, Creative Director, happened to have released an almost similar sunglasses pair so our envy to sport the look inside the theater and outside is possible.

Manufactured under license by Safilo Group, the unisex 3-D glasses (model 3DV 001 GUC) present the iconic green/red/green Gucci Web detail along the temples and along the center brow bar of the frame. The model also features the Gucci 3D logo printed near the end piece of each temple and on the right lens.

The lenses will contain a high tech multi-layered mirrored coating, allowing the wearer to view themselves in a mirror without distortion. The mirrored coating not only provides a premium look and superior viewing and contrast enhancement, but also allows over 98% of visible light through, therefore not affecting viewing in the dark cinema environment.

The new 3-D glasses are sold at US $225, exclusively available in the United States since December at Gucci boutiques.

Louis Vuitton Spring / Summer 2011 – A Riot of Colors

Monday, December 27th, 2010
It seems that the year 2011, according to the fahion house of Louis Vuitton, should see the riot of colors, a mesh of styles and a play for the Chinese consumer. If you have been following the house, you must have found the evidence in the Spring-Summer 2011 Womens Louis Vuitton collection that paraded down the runway. In fact, it reminded me loads of Chingay (being reference to Singapore’s annual street festival, and not a Chinese man who is gay). It was chinoiserie-flapper 50s-safari all rolled into one and tumbled into a dryer before being spat out into all the looks of the collection. And there was even a giant panda.
Regardless, even though all the looks were running amok with wonderment, the bags seemed to have a more subdued stance. Safe, even. Layered tri-colour clutches seem to have been made to remind you of Neapolitan cake or ice-cream perhaps. But instead of chocolate, strawberry or vanilla, we were given other alternatives, such as chocolate and caramel with a peach sorbet topping, or the raspberry and orange one topped with lemon. These vibrant bags, in fact, are not that to my taste, but definitely great choices for people who would like to remind the world around them that their bag is indeed from Louis Vuitton, these leather and suede clutches festooned with giant Vuitton lettering in block letters.
I have to admit that I’m part old-school, part old-fashioned and basically well on my way to becoming an old fart. Which probably explains my keen interest in these exotically trimmed, brocade embroidered handbags that are definitely luxurious. Note how the hardware has been deliberately burnished, giving it an old-world finish.
While, my favourite collection of the lot, which is the designer’s grudgingly unwilling nod to the minimalist movement that’s the current rage in the world of fashion. But instead of using neutrals and shades of camel that everyone else is adopting, he pushes them out with bright in-your-face jewel tones, which, on my view, is his unique way of showing the middle finger. Gorgeous hues, interesting trims and that alluring front buckle. They will all be loved. And we can see nothing big. Small bags is in trend now!

Hermes 2011: Everything Relating to Its Horsey Heritage

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Have you ever heard about the terms of “transparent crocodile”? I know it seems impossible to me, too. But if any brand is able to produce such thing, it should be the fashion house of Hermès. And the designer would naturally be Jean Paul Gaultier who has been known for his creativity. And he would instinctively cut it into a sharply tailored jacket. That particular item was one of the more mesmerizing pieces in Gaultier’s swan song for Hermès today. In the fashion city of Paris, we’ve been stunned by the new 2011 collection of Hermes. Apart from the rather special element, there were plenty more in a show that made for a fabulous last hurrah.

But at first I should tell you that, when you see a lady on the street in the new ready-to-wear of Hermes 2011, you will tend to expect a horse somewhere with the lady. But in fact, you are not going to see that. This time Hermes made full use of its horsey heritage. Everything has something to do with the theme, starting with the showbizzy opener of a dressage corps going through its paces under a mass of chandeliers. Then Karlie Kloss, every designer’s favorite equestrienne, stalked out in second-skin black leather, brandishing a riding crop. Her lean, sexy, and ever-so-fetishistic look set the tone for the whole show. Where there was volume, as in a white organza coat trailing away in scarf points, or a flowing gown in ombré chiffon, or the capes of mousseline that swathed the finale, it merely emphasized the intense body-consciousness of the rest. Which meant the key piece was a leather basque, highlighting the waist, attenuating the hard, precise silhouette.

We have to admit that Gaultier is a master tailor, and this time he has maximized his talent to create a kind of austere but sensuous glamour. His singular twist was to build interest into the back of a garment, baring skin with jackets and tops that crisscrossed like wings. If they might be classified as a fashion bridge too far—along with the body harnesses, the jodhpur shorts, and those basques—there was temptation aplenty elsewhere. See the ultra-high-waisted pants, chic leather-fronted cardigans, gorgeous suede jackets, and leather skirts, not to mention some splendidly sleek accessories that were worthy additions to the classic Hermès carryalls. There are all pieces of artwork from the greatest, at least the greatese in my mind, fashion house will become another breathtaking collection. And all these masterpieces will surely allow the brand to win the hearts of even more people all over the world.

New York Fashion Week – Spring/Summer Season 2011

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

The New York 2011 Spring and Summer Fashion week from September 8th has presented us with the latest collections of 2011. Though now it is no longer considered new, still, we can have a closer look at the fashion items, which will become the hottest stuff next year, to get some hint about the trendy elements. From that beginning of the Week, the site of fashion week was changed from Bryant Park to Lincoln center. It didn`t mean the changes of New York fashion week was as easy as moving from one park to another. After all, the new site was the whole Lincoln center.

Designers from each brand poured into a lot of painstaking care. Different styles will meet different needs of the public. No matter from the Wall street elite female images of Alexander Wang, or the fur style from Channel, chivalrousness from Dior, 70s American sport style of MacGibbon, detective style from Hermes, no one does not show the thinking of designers.

This time, Channel adopted man-made fur instead of real fur. Compared with before, the products of this season from Channel tend closer to C-design, but not ready-to-wear. Hermes continues the style of its 2010 autumn and winter garments. Sherlock Holms style still prevails. Hats and umbrellas in Sherlock Holms style appeared almost in every model`s head and hand. Sherlock Holms style long wind coats with the hats and umbrellas spread out heroic spirit and sagacity. No matter you are a Holms` fan or not, you will love them at the first sight.

In every model`s hand, there is an Hermes handbag. The colors are still the classic ones, such as black, brown, grey, orange etc. It is thus clear that owning several Hermes handbags in classic colors is so important. You can make them go well with your dressings in every season. Compared with other brands, I still love Hermes. The garments from Hermes always show females tall and beautiful figures. Although the designs are simple and colors are not as fresh as Channel, the noble temperament with Hermes clothes and handbags is unique. No matter of Hermes garments, or Hermes handbags, such as Hermes Birkin, Hermes Kelly, both of them can be called good partners to make you confident and noble. They are like supernatural spirits who always send out marvels unexpectedly.

With the the help of all the fashion weeks, we can expect the fashion trends next year. Isn’t it a pretty exciting thing? So are you ready? Join the fashionistas and make yourself the fashion queen in next spring!

Change Your Fashion Style and Lifestyle with Urban Clothing

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

If a lady wears urban clothing, you can see that she has made up her mind to fight for higher standards of living and success. Urban fashion is often relaxed, comfortable, and at the same time functional. In this modern world heading forward in rapid pace, women, just like men, are always on the go. If you are also among the flock, urban fashion will be a good choice for you. That urban clothing is comfortable does not necessarily lead to the result that it does not make you look good. As a matter of fact, that’s not true at all. You can look great in urban wear and your accessories will make the most of your urban look. If want to fit in the big city and the urban lifestyle, then it is an important step for you to urbanize your wear.

Of course, you will not achieve a great urban look if you don’t truly understand what it means. To embrace the fashion of urban wear, you have to check the following points about your look:

It needs to be functional
It needs to be a little on the ethnic side.
It needs to be bold and tell people about the true you.
It needs to be edgy.

Two different types of urban clothing are available for women to choose from – the weekend wear and the business clothing. As is implied by the name, weekend wear can be anything from evening gowns to skinny jeans with furry boots and a nice comfy sweater. While, business wear can be clothing like maxi-dresses, power suits and vintage ensembles.

When you go for the urban clothing, you shouldn’t be afraid to mix and match elements that typically would not go together. Keep in mind that bold is beautiful. If everything goes right, the bolder you make a combination, the better it’ll be.

The basics of urban wear include jewelry that catches the crowd, skinny Jeans, wool coats, ankle or knee length boots, thin skirts, corduroy Blazers, bold belts, flats and black cardigans.

With urban wear you can easily free yourself from the dull business suit and go for something to wear to a club in just a few easy steps. Add a headband and some makeup that will make you sparkle. Then some great boots will be must have items. You don’t have to be half naked to look good for a night out on the town. You can show that you are smart, sensible and bold, without the skimpy lace and short shorts to get attention.

In addition, accessories are rather important to urban fashion. Now you can easily find great jewelries made with precious stones, many different metals and crystals and pearls. You should try to send a message saying that you are a special lady, distinguished from other girls. Large jewel encrusted necklaces and pendants to gold hoop earrings are the bold urban fashion statements to make everyone’s head turned to your direction.

Bag Maintenance – 5 Tips Helping Your Handbags Survive Years of Use

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Women love their handbags. An unofficial survey shows that the most precious items owned by women are their handbags. Actually this result is hardly surprising, since authentic designer bags, that most women seek after, can be really expensive but they do symbolize a certain degree of class and style. Most women are willing to spend much of her time and money on looking for stuff that can make themselves look more attractive. Some ladies might not admit it in public but they would readily admit to you in private that they love it when they walk into a room and cause heads to turn in their direction plus have friends complement them on their new Prada designer purse.

Handbags are regarded as one of the best friends of women, but dazzled by the joy of owning a new designer handbag, women tend to forget their old friends – the previous favorites. And when some day they are noticed and needed again, they are already floppy, old and out of shape. An authentic Gucci or Fendi bag should last for a long time but with the wrong habits and a lack of continuous care, you might soon discover that that bag that brought you so much fame and attention is now a source of shame and embarrassment. So to take good care of your bags are really important.

Here are 5 tips which can help your handbags survive years of use and stay in perfect shape.

First you should avoid over-stuffing your bag, which is a crime most ladies are guilty of committing on a daily basis. I mean its quite tempting when you have a Gucci Pelham purse measuring 16 inches by 5.5 inches by 12 inches to stuff it with all your girlie items. However doing this puts stress on the handles of your bag and over time this can cause the handles to tear at the edges.

Second, if you don’t use the bag now, put it into a dust bag to protect it against dust. You might have several bags you only carry every now and again. Instead of leaving your bag lying around your room where it can be trampled on and collect dust, place it in the dust bag that came when you ordered it. Also remember to stuff it with paper as this will help it retain its original shape.

The third point is that you’d better fix the bag as soon as possible when something wrong happens to it. When you find a stain, smudge or loose screw on your bag, fix it immediately. This will ensure you are not disappointed on the day when you are going out and discover at the last minute that your bag has a stain that will take another 30 minutes to fix. Remember a stitch in time saves nine.

Fourthly, if you do love the bag, give it a break. Do not over-use your bag. Some ladies love their designer bags so much that they carry the same Fendi Spy bag on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday and on every other day of the week. They carry the same bag to work as well as to the club and also to the beach! Even authentic designer handbags are subject to wear and tear and using your bag so often will ensure you do not have it for very long.

At last I suggest that you keep your bag away from sunlight. Leaving your designer handbags by a window or exposed to direct sunlight will cause it to fade dramatically. This might seem like a small matter but many women wonder why their bag fades so quickly and this can sometimes be traced to excessive exposure to sunlight.

Signs to Prove the Success of Your Last Shopping Spree of Designer Items

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Most women love shopping, and it is already a recognized truth of nature and statistics. While shopping, to most men, is just an activity to get things needed for keeping a human being alive. Shopping with women, to the men, is worse than directly telling them to go to hell. Women find shopping a liberating experience and enjoy the thrill of discovering new products and services. Designer dresses, handbags or accessories are on the list of women’s favorites, which help them keep confident and beautiful and thus happy. The female specie particularly loves it when they can find the latest designer bag or shoe or product on sale and at a ridiculous discount.

Still, spending a Saturday afternoon going from shop to shop, finding designer item after designer item and going home with a couple of shopping bags plus a big fat smile on your face, all of these construct a beautiful and delightful scene. However, it only represents one side of the coin to the shopping experience. Well, these ladies are never fully satisfied until she receives the admiration and complements from her friends. These items they’ve got are regarded as the ’spoils’ she caught in the shopping mall ‘jungle’.

It does make some sense, at least from a lady’s point of view, that there should be two sides of the equation when it comes to shopping. After all, what is the use of getting those beloved Louis Vuitton handbags you’ve dreamed about for ages, if no one is going to bat an eyelid in your direction when you attend a social function? Most women do not go shopping just for the thrill of getting designer items at a remarkable discount but for the social endorsement from others.

There are some behaviors of your friends which can prove that your new designer handbags, dresses or shoes were worthy of all the hassle on that Saturday afternoon. Let me give you some examples: Your friends ask if you can take them to the shop or boutique where you bought your designer shoes or purse. A few days after you buy your bag, you see a very popular female celebrity carrying the same one on the magazine. You beat your colleagues by getting the same Gucci shoes at a great discount to what she got them for. You caught all of the attention as you sashay into a room with your new floral print dress. You overhear two waiters fighting over who will serve you at local restaurant. People ask you for a signature, since they’ve mistaked you for a celebrity with your Gucci sunglasses … Or the porters at the airport bypass your girlfriends and ask to carry your new Louis Vuitton traveling bags.

If one or several of the scenes above has happened to you, then there you have it. The social endorsements prove that you made wise choices when you went on your last shopping spree.
